What is Patriotism!! Independence Day Celebrations

Prayatna Celebrated Independence Day in a full of spirit of Patriotism on 15th August.
On the theme of "What is Patriotism!" two functions were organized at both "School of Excellence" Child Development Centres.
Students, Sector 22, 23 residents, teachers and professionals from different sectors participated the event and explored Patriotism !!!
A historical Play was presented by Prayatna "NatyaShala" Molahera students that depicted the couragous revolutionary activities by freedom fighters, named was "SWARAAJ - KAKORI TRAIN ROBBERY 1925"
Folk Songs and Dances were also the prominent part of the cultural function.
Lot of other Cultural activities and Discourses were also presented by students during the function.
Mega play "Bada Aadmi Kaun?" Performance for National School of Drama

Prayatna Dramatics Group "NatyaShala" performs a mega play "Bada Aadmi Kaun?" on 17th July at Rotary Public School, Sector 22 Gurgaon.
"Bada Aadmi Kaun?" tells about the personality traits of a successful person and explains how we can play the very important role for society along with our own personal and professional responsibilities. This story is about a 14 year old boy Rahul who is seeking a 'Bada Aadmi' for his school assignment and how he meets with a social group who are living meaningful lives for the sake of society by having some clear, selfless tangible goals. In this way Rahul finds that by living life for others we can be a successful and self content individual."
Programme was followed by a musical show by "Heart Beats" musical band of Prayatna.

Recently, Prayatna has celebrated its 'Award Giving' ceremony to all the excellent performers and outstanding contributors for the year 2015.
Following are the best students, teacher and volunteers list. Please find attached snaps for each category.
Best Student of "School of Excellence" Jharsa - Ritu, class 5th student
Best Student of "School of Excellence" Molahera - Nidhi Kumari, class 6th student
Best Volunteer among Student category - Ganesh Kumar, class 11th from Carterpuri School
Ganesh has spent almost 3 months in free volunteering to teach its younger brothers and sisters for "School of Excellence" Molahera students. He has given a cash prize for its self-less contribution.
Best Teacher - Hon'ble Ms Monika Taak, "School of Excellence" Jharsa
Ms Monika, a resident of village Jharsa is a lead teacher of "School of Excellence" Jharsa has been with Prayatna for two years. She is a trained teacher and pursuing her LLB and love teaching to kids. She has always been very supportive in all school activities and teaching sessions. She also manage cultural events very well.
SUPERHERO 2015 AWARD (Best Volunteer)
Priyanka Maharana, from Impulse (I) Pvt Ltd has been associated with Prayatna for the past 2 and half years and is a favourite amongst the students.
She is involved in various volunteering activities and being a professional fashion designer she has always been very supportive to devise and execute costumes for the students at the cultural events. Also she loves writing her volunteering experiences on social media to encourage others to come forward and join the mission.
We congratulate each one of them and wish best for their future endeavours.
Prayatna also acknowledged Impulse (I) Pvt. Ltd. for its continued support by giving a memento to Ms Preeji, representative of Impulse. We are thankful to Mr Nikhil suri for his continuous encouragement.
Republic Day Event Celebrations 2016

Prayatna today, rejoiced in the celebration of the 67th Republic day of our country. Leaving no stone unturned to make our day truly responsible, the students started off with "SAFAI ABHIYAN" followed by nurturing the "GREEN LIFE". A small tribute to the "BHARAT MATA" through dancing to the tunes of "MERE DESH KI DHARTI" and "VANDE MATARAM" made sure our spirits were high with patriotism. And we love every bit about being an INDIAN.
